Year 4

Year 1 growth stages, shrinkage then growth

• You save so much time, not having to comb, brush, braid, sew or crotchet your hair.
• You save so much mental space not thinking about styling or combing your hair. It leaves so much room for productivity and creativity.
• You save so much money. On products, hair supplies, hair appointments the list goes on. Want savings, just Loc it.
• You never have to deal with uncomfortable styles again. If it is too tight or too painful you can easily just unravel any loc styles. No more being cranky because your hairstyle is giving you a headache. 
• As your hair grow so do you mentally and spiritually. You feel more grounded and self assured. Additionally, leaving your hair alone allows it to grow without the split ends, burnt hair or constant manipulation. If you want limitless growth just Loc it.
• You are more accepting of your hair and ultimately yourself. Realizing this is who you are and this is how your hair grows out of your head. It’s literally all you’ve got and what the divine blessed you with. Use it or lose it.
  

• It is uniquely yours no one else, could do it quite like you.
• It’s easy to start on your own or help from a friend or professional. I asked my Milo, to do it one random Sunday. He asked if I was sure and then parted my hair neatly and using a comb to curl my fro into individual locs. It took about a year to Loc and got thicker than the size I started with.
• I love my Locs, it’s best decision I’ve made. I tried a lot of options before from natural, braids, crotchet, weave, bright red dye, henna all lovely in their own way but none as beautiful as what I have now. 
• We wash and retwist twice or once a month depending on how I feel and how my hair looks and feels.
• The only con is lint, it can easily get trapped in your hair if you are not cautious where you lay your head. Recommended silk/satin like sheets pillowcase and head wrap to help alleviate. 
• There is a an acceptance curb when you first start that you may second guess your decision because it doesn't quite look the way you want but if you get pass that it will grow into uniquely your style.
• Save time, money, mental space and grow exponentially with Locs.
